I’m typically the one encouraging couples to get a little adventurous with their photo shoot locations, but this place was all Emily and Chris. They had visions of a snowy pine forest and hiked themselves all over western New York looking for the spot that spoke to them. They eventually landed at Erie County Forest and knew it was the place, so they got their most glamorous outfits ready for the hike (because when else?!) and then it was just a matter of waiting for the snow.
This shoot was also a special opportunity for me to test out some new equipment! Special thanks to my friend and fellow photographer, Aleksey Sergeevich, for letting me test out this beautiful lens, the Canon 135mm F2! It’s a gem for sure!
