I go to a lot of weddings. I’m lucky to have access to very special people, places and moments. But every so often I get to witness something unforgettable, and this moment is one that stuck with me. As Colleen was finishing getting ready for the ceremony, she noticed the piano player outside the window warming up. She swung open the patio door to see if she could hear him. By some twist of nature, the sound carried at tremendous volume, filled the room with music and the scene you see pictured here began. Colleen allowed herself to be completely present, to feel all the things, with no concern for her fresh makeup or anything else besides the joy inside her. Then she said, “this is how I always hoped I would feel on my wedding day.” How lucky am I, to be surrounded by such inspiring love?
