This has to be one of my favorite engagement sessions of the year. Katie was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed last year and I remember taking one look at her and Jon and thinking, “I sure hope I have the chance to photograph their wedding some day!” Well before we knew it they were engaged and I was lucky enough to get the gig. (: Katie came up with one of the longest lists of locations for their engagement session I’ve ever seen but I can’t resist an epic e-session so we made a whirlwind trip around the city starting at the site of their first date, Empire Grill and ending at one of my favorite locations along Buffalo’s waterfront where the magic really happened. Raindrops began to fall for a few minutes then suddenly the clouds parted giving us a dramatic sky and for the last shot of night, a RAINBOW. I am wondering if you could let me know where these photos were taken? Specifically the park/wheat-field setting with the bridge and city in the background? Brainstorming ideas and locations!
