Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection – the lovers, the dreamers and me Every wedding around dinner time I have my eyes on the windows, just in case there’s some mystical light calling us outside. It was pouring this night. Absolutely pouring. But a sudden golden glow started to fill the atmosphere and so I wandered out of Freedom Runs barn doors to check it out. Nothing too special was happening, but I said to my assistant, “I think we’re going to have a rainbow any minute…” I turned back to my chair when suddenly a curious groom wandered to the door to see the scene for himself and proclaimed something along the lines of, “I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure the double rainbow over there qualifies as that “good light” you’re always talking about!” Outside we ran! I got absolutely drenched, but what a fleeting, beautiful scene it was to watch Therese and Jim play in the pouring rain beneath this rainbow of epic proportions. Thanks for calling in the rainbow you two. Much appreciated.
